We collect personal items, mostly for women, sort them, bag them and then donate them to various shelters and organizations who distribute them to those in need each year. These items are basic necessities that provide dignity and self-respect. It’s awful how often folks have to choose between buying a hot meal or paying for a pair of socks or a box of menstrual hygiene product.
